Celebrating Our New CrossFit Gym in Mesa, Arizona

A bigger gym deserved a BIG celebration.

To celebrate the opening of our new, larger CrossFit Incite facility in Mesa, Arizona, we invited the entire CrossFit community to join us for a completely free Grand Reopening Lift Off.

Athletes from CrossFit gyms throughout the Valley came together to lift heavy, chase PRs, meet new people, support one another, and help us celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of CrossFit Incite.

We had local vendors, friends and families filling the gym, some huge lifts, and incredible energy from beginning to end.

And the best part?

‍You didn't have to be a CrossFit Incite member to participate.

This event was open to everyone.

CrossFit Athletes From Across the Valley

One of our favorite things about CrossFit has always been that you can compete with someone one minute and be the loudest person cheering for them the next.

That's exactly what happened at the CrossFit Incite Grand Reopening Lift Off.

Athletes from CrossFit gyms throughout Mesa, Queen Creek, Gilbert, Phoenix, and the surrounding East Valley came together under one roof.

Different gyms. Different experience levels. Different strength levels.

None of that mattered.

When someone stepped up to the bar, the room got behind them.

We had experienced CrossFit athletes moving some serious weight alongside everyday members testing themselves, hitting personal records, and accomplishing something they hadn't done before.

Every lift mattered. Every PR got celebrated.

That's CrossFit.

More Than a CrossFit Competition

The Lift Off wasn't about finding out who belonged in the gym. Everyone belonged.

CrossFit has never been about needing to be the strongest, fastest, or fittest person in the room. It's about becoming better than you were yesterday and surrounding yourself with people who want to see you succeed. That's the type of community we've worked to build at CrossFit Incite since 2012.

Our Grand Reopening gave us the opportunity to share that community with athletes and families from all over the Valley. Local vendors joined us throughout the event. Friends and family packed the gym. The crowd stayed loud from the first lift to the last.

For one day, it didn't matter what gym you belonged to or what logo was on your shirt.

We were one CrossFit community.

A New Home for CrossFit Incite

Our Grand Reopening Lift Off also gave us the chance to officially introduce the CrossFit community to our new, much larger East Mesa facility.

Our CrossFit gym is conveniently located near Eastmark, Cadence at Gateway, Queen Creek, Southeast Mesa, and Southeast Gilbert.

Our larger facility gives our members more room for CrossFit, strength and conditioning, Olympic weightlifting, functional fitness, endurance training, and community events like the Lift Off. More importantly, it gives us something we've wanted for a long time: more room to grow the Incite community.

55 Feet of INCITE STRONG

If you walk into our new gym, it's pretty hard to miss the words stretching across one of our walls.

‍INCITE STRONG.

Our new INCITE STRONG wall stretches approximately 55 feet across the gym, with letters standing 4 feet tall.

But INCITE STRONG means a lot more to us than giant letters on a wall.

People who showed up when they were nervous.

People who got stronger.

People who lost weight.

People who accomplished things they didn't think they could do.

People who made lifelong friends.

People who kept showing up year after year.

And people who cheer just as loudly for someone else's PR as they do for their own.

That's INCITE STRONG.

Serving the Mesa CrossFit Community Since 2012

CrossFit Incite has been serving the Mesa community since 2012.

Over the years, we've watched complete beginners become experienced athletes. We've watched members get stronger, families grow, friendships form, and people accomplish things they once thought were impossible.

We've also watched Mesa grow around us.

Today, members come to CrossFit Incite from Mesa, Eastmark, Cadence, Queen Creek, Gilbert, and communities throughout the Southeast Valley.

Our Grand Reopening wasn't simply about moving into a bigger CrossFit gym.

It was about creating a home where the next chapter of CrossFit Incite could happen.

Judging by the energy at the Lift Off, we're just getting started.

INCITE STRONG.

1% Better Every Day.

Thank You to the Arizona CrossFit Community

To every athlete who lifted, every family member and friend who cheered, every vendor who participated, every coach who helped, and every person who walked through our doors:

Thank you.

You made the CrossFit Incite Grand Reopening Lift Off something we'll remember for a long time.

We opened the event to the public because we believe a strong CrossFit community extends beyond the walls of any individual gym.

For one day, it didn't matter what logo was on your shirt.

We were just a bunch of people throwing around some weight, chasing PRs, and cheering each other on.

We wouldn't have wanted to celebrate our new home any other way.

Could the CrossFit Incite Lift Off Become an Annual Mesa Event?

After seeing the turnout, the energy in the gym, and athletes from across the Valley coming together, we've already started talking about doing it again.

What started as a way to celebrate the Grand Reopening of CrossFit Incite may become something bigger.

We're considering making the CrossFit Incite Lift Off an annual event in Mesa, Arizona.

We'd love to bring athletes from CrossFit gyms throughout Arizona back together each year for another day of heavy lifting, PRs, local vendors, friends, family, and an entire gym cheering each other on.

Nothing is official yet, but after seeing how much fun everyone had, it's going to be pretty hard not to do it again.

Stay tuned.

The first CrossFit Incite Lift Off might not be the last.
